You may recognize Tiffany Krumins from ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank”, where she pitched her invention to potential investors. The former nanny auditioned for the show on a whim after developing a children’s medicine dispenser she calls AVA The Elephant. Tiffany’s appearance on that show connected her to real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran who agreed to be her partner and gave her $50,000 to start her company.
The successful launch of Tiffany’s business idea was followed by feelings of happiness tinged with misfortune when, a few months after appearing on “Shark Tank”, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Now in remission, she will talk about battling challenges as you pursue your goals. She’ll reveal how she stayed so committed to her business while coping with her health scare and balancing motherhood. AVA is currently sold in more than 10,000 retail outlets including CVS Pharmacy, BabiesRUs.com, Drugstore.com, Amazon.com, Walgreens.com, and ToysRUs.com. It’s also sold in five countries and available in multiple languages.
Tiffany’s tenacity represents the values that every entrepreneur should employ–perseverance and courage. You have the option to interact either by text or video, or you can sit silently and just listen to Tiffany answer audience questions.
